Sleeve gastrectomy surgery is the gold standard in obesity surgery. The procedure is performed laparoscopically (minimally invasive method). After the surgery, the patient stays in the hospital for three nights for initial rehabilitation. After discharge, the patient spends two nights in a hotel before being able to fly home.
