MITRAL VALVE REPLACEMENT WITH BIOLOGICAL PROSTHETIC VALVE Hospitalization: 7 nights ICU Stay: 2 nights Procedure Description: Mitral valve replacement is a surgical procedure performed to replace a diseased or severely damaged mitral valve that cannot be adequately repaired. Depending on the patient's clinical condition, anatomy, and surgical assessment, the procedure may be performed through conventional open-heart surgery or a minimally invasive surgical approach. During the procedure, the diseased mitral valve is removed and replaced with a biological prosthetic valve, typically made from specially treated animal tissue. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia. When required, cardiopulmonary bypass is used to support heart and circulation during the operation. Following surgery, the patient is closely monitored in the Intensive Care Unit before being transferred to the cardiovascular surgery ward for continued recovery and observation. Package Includes: Preoperative cardiology and cardiovascular surgery evaluation Required preoperative laboratory and diagnostic tests Mitral valve replacement with a biological prosthetic valve Conventional open-heart or minimally invasive surgical approach, as clinically appropriate Biological prosthetic heart valve General anesthesia Postoperative monitoring and medical treatment Routine postoperative laboratory and imaging examinations Cardiovascular surgery follow-up during hospitalization The surgical approach and final treatment plan are determined by the cardiovascular surgery team based on the patient's medical records, diagnostic findings, anatomy, and overall clinical condition.
