The package includes arthroscopic meniscus repair performed by Prof. Dr. H. Can Gemalmaz, a senior surgeon with over 18 years of experience in orthopaedics and traumatology, at Acıbadem Taksim Hospital, a premium hospital in Istanbul. General anaesthesia, surgical fees, premium suture and fixation implants from Smith & Nephew, the planned hospital stay, and standard postoperative care are included. The first consultation at the clinic is complimentary. All-inside, inside-out, or outside-in repair techniques, or a combination of these, may be used depending on the type and location of the meniscus tear. Additional biological procedures, such as fibrin glue application or stem-cell based treatments, may be considered in selected cases at an additional cost. Their suitability, expected benefits, and limitations are discussed during consultation. The surgical technique, any additional procedures, length of hospital stay, recommended time in Istanbul, and rehabilitation plan are confirmed after clinical assessment and review of the patient’s imaging. Complimentary complication insurance valued at €150, with limited tourist health-related benefits, is included. Follow-up visits after hospital discharge are free until departure from Istanbul. For patients with restricted mobility staying at an eligible hotel near the clinic, follow-up visits at the hotel are also complimentary. Accommodation and transport are not included but can be arranged with transparent pricing. A video consultation is available at a 20% discount: €176 instead of €220.
